Recognizing Excellence in Arkansas’ Multifamily Housing Industry

The Arkansas Apartment Association Pinnacle Awards celebrate the individuals, teams, companies, and communities whose dedication, leadership, service, and innovation help move Arkansas’ multifamily housing industry forward.

This is your opportunity to recognize the professionals and organizations that consistently go above and beyond. Review the categories and eligibility requirements below, then submit your nominations by October 16.

Nominations are open September 1 through October 16, 2026.


Important Dates and Pricing

September 1–September 30
Nominations are $18 per submission.

October 1–October 16
Nominations are $25 per submission.

October 16
Final deadline to submit all nominations and required supporting materials.

All nominations must be completed and submitted by the deadline. Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.


Important Nomination Policy

All nominations must be unique.

The same individual, team, company, or property cannot be nominated multiple times within the same award category. If a nominee has already been submitted for a particular category, an additional nomination for that nominee in the same category should not be submitted.

Before beginning your submission, please coordinate with your team or company to prevent duplicate nominations.

Property Management Categories

Property Manager of the Year

  • Property Manager of the Year: 1–250 Units

  • Property Manager of the Year: 251+ Units

The nominee must have at least one year of experience in their current role.

Assistant Property Manager of the Year

  • Assistant Property Manager of the Year: 1–250 Units

  • Assistant Property Manager of the Year: 251+ Units

The nominee must have at least one year of experience in their current role.

Leasing Professional of the Year

  • Leasing Professional of the Year: 1–250 Units

  • Leasing Professional of the Year: 251+ Units

The nominee must have at least one year of experience in their current role.

Rookie Leasing Professional of the Year

  • Rookie Leasing Professional of the Year: 1–250 Units

  • Rookie Leasing Professional of the Year: 251+ Units

The nominee must have been in their current role for less than one year.

Regional Supervisor of the Year

The nominee must oversee at least three properties totaling 450 or more units and have at least two years of experience in their current role.

Rising Star

This award recognizes a team member who has worked in the multifamily industry for less than three years and demonstrates strong leadership qualities, high potential, and an exceptional commitment to the industry.


Maintenance and Service Categories

Maintenance Supervisor of the Year

  • Maintenance Supervisor of the Year: 1–250 Units

  • Maintenance Supervisor of the Year: 251+ Units

The nominee must have at least one year of experience in their current role.

Maintenance Technician of the Year

  • Maintenance Technician of the Year: 1–250 Units

  • Maintenance Technician of the Year: 251+ Units

The nominee must have at least one year of experience in their current role.

Rookie Maintenance Professional of the Year

  • Rookie Maintenance Professional of the Year: 1–250 Units

  • Rookie Maintenance Professional of the Year: 251+ Units

The nominee must have been in their current role for less than one year.

Service Team of the Year

  • Service Team of the Year: 1–250 Units

  • Service Team of the Year: 251+ Units

The nominated team must include at least two maintenance team members.

Regional Maintenance Supervisor of the Year

The nominee must oversee at least three properties totaling 450 or more units and have at least two years of experience in their current role.


Supplier and Volunteer Categories

Supplier of the Year

This award recognizes an outstanding supplier professional serving the multifamily housing industry. The nominee’s company must be a current Arkansas Apartment Association member, and the nominee must have at least one year of experience in their current role.

Rookie Supplier of the Year

This award recognizes an outstanding supplier professional who has worked in a supplier role for less than one year.

Volunteer of the Year

This award recognizes an individual whose dedication, service, and volunteer involvement have made a meaningful impact on the Arkansas Apartment Association and Arkansas’ multifamily housing industry.


Company and Property Categories

Management Company of the Year

Recognizing a management company that demonstrates excellence in leadership, operations, employee development, resident service, and industry involvement.

Affordable Property of the Year

Recognizing an affordable housing community that demonstrates excellence in operations, resident service, community impact, and overall property performance.

Luxury Property of the Year

Recognizing a luxury apartment community that delivers an exceptional resident experience through outstanding service, amenities, design, and property operations.

Renovation Property of the Year

Recognizing a property that has undergone a significant renovation or transformation that improved its appearance, functionality, resident experience, or overall value.

Best Curb Appeal

Recognizing a community that demonstrates exceptional exterior presentation, landscaping, cleanliness, maintenance, signage, and overall visual appeal.


Frequently Asked Questions

When are nominations open?

Nominations open September 1 and close October 16, 2026.

How much does it cost to submit a nomination?

Nominations submitted between September 1 and September 30 are $18 each.

Nominations submitted between October 1 and October 16 are $25 each.

Can the same person be nominated more than once?

The same person cannot be nominated multiple times within the same category. Each nomination must be unique.

An eligible person may be nominated in separate categories when they meet the requirements for each category, but duplicate nominations for the same person in the same category are not permitted.

Can I submit more than one nomination?

Yes. You may submit multiple nominations as long as each nomination is unique and meets the eligibility requirements for its selected category.

What is the difference between a rookie and an experienced professional?

Rookie Leasing Professionals, Rookie Maintenance Professionals, and Rookie Suppliers must have worked in their current role for less than one year.

Categories requiring experienced professionals generally require nominees to have at least one year of experience in their current role. Regional nominees must have at least two years of experience in their current role.

How do I determine the correct property size category?

Select the category based on the number of units at the nominee’s property:

  • 1–250 units

  • 251 or more units

Does the nominee or company need to be an AAA member?

Supplier of the Year nominees must represent a company that is a current Arkansas Apartment Association member. Please review the requirements within each nomination form for any additional membership or eligibility requirements.

When must supporting materials be submitted?

All nomination information and required supporting materials must be submitted by October 16. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

What should I include in a strong nomination?

Provide specific examples that demonstrate why your nominee stands out. Highlight measurable accomplishments, leadership, customer or resident service, teamwork, innovation, industry involvement, and the nominee’s overall impact.

Judges may not personally know the nominee, so the nomination should clearly and thoroughly tell their story.
