ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Austin O’Boyle is the Senior Manager of Grassroots Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement at the National Apartment Association (NAA). He oversees NAA’s grassroots and grasstops programs, and in 2021 started NAA’s Influencer, Letter to the Editor (LTE), and At Home Programs. Austin has proven himself as an innovator in the field of advocacy and was named a Top 20 in 2022 award winner by The Advocacy Association, a 2022 Top Grassroots Professional by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (as part of their 2022 Top Lobbyist list), and he was named a Top Lobbyist by The Hill in 2021 and 2022.

Prior to joining NAA, Austin was the Founder and President of On Target Advocacy, a boutique grassroots advocacy consultancy that crafted advocacy strategies for associations, corporations, and non-profit organizations across the country. In 2020, On Target Advocacy was acquired by AMP, a political consulting firm, where Austin would briefly serve as their VP of Grassroots and Political Outreach, creating advocacy strategies for clients ranging from small associations to Fortune 200 companies.
